Preconception & Chiropractic

Chiropractic care does not treat fertility challenges, but it helps you get healthy to make conception conceivable.

We believe that pregnancy is the end result of a healthy couple.  Whereas most therapies promise pregnancy, we seek to create health— healthy lifestyle, healthy relationship, healthy environment. Healthy conception is a shared journey, therefore mother and father must be committed to the process together.

By focusing on creating health first, we help create the best environment for a family to begin.  Therefore, when conception occurs, the baby will be more likely to survive and thrive.

Our goal is to teach 8 essential health habits to parents prior to conception, so the habits not only create better health in mom and dad, but the health of the baby is significantly improved as well! That’s our focus, passion, and drive: Empowering healthy families from fertility forward.

"What is Webster Technique?"

The Webster technique is a chiropractic analysis and gentle adjustment of the sacrum. As with all chiropractic adjustments, our intent is to improve the nervous system so the body can function better. As with all sacral adjustments, pelvic balance is improved. A balanced pelvis reduces undue tension in the attached muscles and ligaments. In pregnant women, if the pelvis is not balanced, the uneven pulling on these muscles and ligaments may be restricting the baby's ability to get into the best possible position for birth.

Difficult labor is caused by  inadequate uterine function, pelvis imbalance, and baby mal-presentation. Clinically, we are seeing that sacral adjustments in pregnancy may affect the function of the uterus, improve pelvic balance and reduce muscle tension to pelvic muscles and ligaments. Therefore, when balance in restored to the mother's pelvis, her uterus and pelvis function better and babies may be able to comfortably assume the best possible position throughout pregnancy and for birth.

Chiropractic care during pregnancy optimizes mom’s function to allow for an environment where baby can grow and develop to its fullest potential.

We hope to empower women who are pregnant and families who are hoping to become pregnant through advocacy, information, support, and principled chiropractic care. A woman experiences many physiological changes during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum which is why it is important to see chiropractors who are trained to adapt care for these changes. Both Dr Wesley and Dr Aerial are certified in the Webster Technique.
